Any advice on photo sizes and resolution?

As your Zombie Makeover will be printed at a size of 8 X 10 and for the larger Poster option 12 X 16, it is important to take your photo at as high a resolution as you possibly can. Most modern 3 Megapixel cameras should be able to cope with this. Anything above 3 Megapixels would be even better. Just make sure your camera is set to it's highest resolution. Here's a rough guide to Megapixel numbers and photo sizes.
3 MP - 2048 x 1536
4 MP - 2400 x 1600
5 MP - 2560 x 1920
6 MP - 3008 x 2000
Also, set your camera to the highest quality setting like Super-fine for example, to avoid heavy JPEG compression. It will result in bigger filesizes but this ultimately means better quality photos and therefore better quality prints.
If you don't have access to a digital camera and are scanning a photograph on your scanner, please scan the photo at 300DPI resolution. This will ensure a high enough quality for printing at the 8 X 10 or 12 X 16 size.

We are committed to making sure that your order gets to you in fantastic condition. It's placed in a large plastic bag to protect it from moisture. Then it's placed in a board-backed envelope with extra cardboard inside. This ensures that it will arrive on your doorstep in pristine condition ready for display.
A word about the Postal Service...
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this as we have no control over the vagaries of the Royal Mail! However, we take every precaution in the packing stage to hopefully minimize any damage that might occur.
If your order is destined for a UK address, the Royal Mail Royal Mail Recorded Signed For service is used although insurance is not included. This only covers orders for loss or damage up to £34.00 in value. If your order totals over £34.00 then we urge you to take out further insurance.
If you require insurance cover, please get in touch and we can work out the extra postal charge.
